It was a great learning experience yesterday π π I took on Marketing electives to learn something out of the books and that’s exactly what I got to do in your class. Its unfortunate that the time allotted was less for such an interesting subject but I’m hoping we’ll get to see you in another class pretty soon.
You’ve got my interest to go higher in the area of Brand Management which is a field I’m vying for my future and I’m really thankful to you for that π π

Dont’t know how to start on this π as i missed the first session by a whisker :p and the pseudo discipline denied me those initial 90 mins. of knowledge :). Nevertheless, second session was pretty informative with respect to knowledge shared by you. Indeed the domain digital marketing grabs everyone’s attention as everything is on web these days, so you better know about it if one has any interest in the marketing field.
I was expecting more on the digital marketing industry scenario. More in terms of how this industry has evolved since its start w.r.t revenues, technology, manpower. The big players in this field maybe i am not sure cause its a subset of marketing firms like O&M, JWT, FCB-Ulka, McCann-Erickson etc etc. With respect to advertising regulations on the web world, the various revenue models such as the traditional click through rates, no. of hits coupled with affiliate programs, and so on and so forth.
Also how this field is shaping up in the organization hierarchy w.r.t marketing department as a lot of companies these days have a dedicated digital marketing heads e.g. Lenovo
Surely with your expertise and guidance, i look forward to more knowledge sharing as and when you are able to cater to our queries which surely would be of immense help to our future digital plans π and yes time was too short for such an interesting topic and an interesting person π hopefully we would see more of you soon!

Thanks Ajit – yes we did run through some of the metrics of the domestic digital industry but the session was planned around eBranding Strategies so thats why more of a global, and general approach! But yes, Indian digi industry is booming and has an amazing future — will discuss more on the opportunities when we meet again soon.
